Summary: This study explores the role of classroom furniture in creating a comfortable and functional learning environment. Data were collected from two randomly selected government-aided schools, including 30 students, 19 teachers, and administrative heads from each school, using an exploratory research design. Interviews with two furniture design companies provided insights into modern designs. A pretested questionnaire identified challenges with current furniture, while anthropometric measurements of students were taken to assess compatibility. Key body dimensions were recorded to inform ergonomic and functional furniture designs for classrooms.
